Crisis Response – Israel News

Israel At War – Updates from January 24, 2025

Your endless prayers are helping Israel and her people. After more than a year of war, terror, and pain, a ceasefire agreement has been met between Israel and Hamas.

On January 19, three hostages – Doron, Emily, and Romi — were released by Hamas after 15 harrowing months in captivity.

As the Israeli military anticipates the release of more hostages soon, the horrors that have taken hold in the Holy Land still linger for so many.

The people of Israel have endured unimaginable heartbreak and unprecedented attacks, and The Fellowship continues to support them with food, bomb shelters, emergency care, and security essentials—and we’re committed to continuing that support.

Your gift today can help us provide lifesaving help to the Jewish people who depend on us for critical humanitarian aid.

During this historic time, please continue to pray for the safe return of ALL hostages.

The Fellowship’s Impact

The Fellowship is assessing needs daily, as we are receiving an overwhelming number of requests for aid. Along with the day-to-day aid we deliver regularly to Jewish people in need, we are delivering aid to populations hardest-hit by this crisis, including:

· Evacuees from war-torn areas, who were forced to leave their homes

· First responders and volunteers who need medical equipment

· Elderly beneficiaries, families, and new olim (immigrants), who need necessities like food, water, medical equipment, and psychological counseling to deal with trauma

Since October 7, 2023, The Fellowship has disbursed more than $157 million in aid to support the ongoing emergency needs and to continue to provide assistance in our core program areas of security, poverty, and aliyah, supporting beneficiaries impacted by the war and ongoing conflict. This includes those most heavily affected–the evacuees, the wounded, and the first responders.

Help Israel Now with Your Donation

Your donation today could provide an essential food box and lifesaving aid to a Jewish person in need. Every blessing is a way to ease the burdens of those in need in Israel and her people during this moment of uncertainty—a way to share what we have with those who have lost everything.
