Start a Fundraiser for The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
Your support makes a huge difference in the lives of Israelis facing hardship during this unprecedented time. In addition to praying for Israel and her people, you can also start your own fundraiser—to help raise funds for critical needs like food, bomb shelters, flak jackets, ambulances, and so much more! Below are several ways you can start a fundraiser or raise awareness for Israel and her people.
Starting a Facebook Fundraiser
On desktop:
- On your computer, login to Facebook
- While viewing your own profile, click inside the “What’s on your mind?” bubble near the top of your page.
- Inside the bubble that says “Add to your post” click the three dots.
- Click “
Raise money” - You can either:
- Scroll to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for.
- Type into the search bar to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for.
- Select the nonprofit.
- Type what you want the post to say.
- Click post.
Starting an Instagram Fundraiser
On mobile:
- Open Instagram and tap the + in the upper left corner of your screen
- Tap “post” at the bottom of your screen if it isn’t already highlighted.
- Create or choose your image and tap Next.
- Crop and filter your post, and then tap Next.
- Scroll all the way down and tap “More options”
- Tap Add fundraiser.
- Choose the nonprofit you want to fundraise for, then tap on edit fundraiser to change the goal amount.
- Enter the details for your fundraiser and then tap Done.
- Tap the back arrow and then tap share.
