Following the terror attack at Ramot Junction which killed six and injured at least 20 people, The Times of Israel reports that the Shin Bet security agency has arrested a suspect connected to it in East Jerusalem. The suspect had allegedly snuck the two gunmen into the Israeli capital city in preparation for the attack.
The detained East Jerusalemite is suspected of smuggling the two gunmen into Jerusalem by car. He has had previous run-ins with law enforcement for trying to help Palestinians reside illegally in Israel, the Kan public broadcaster reports.
The two perpetrators of the attack, both West Bank Palestinians, opened fire on civilians at Ramot Junction, killing six and injuring at least 20 others.
Both terrorists were shot and killed at the scene by an off-duty solider and armed civilians.
