Yesterday evening, Hezbollah launched around 200 rockets and 20 drones at northern Israel. The Times of Israel reports that no one was killed in these strikes. The onslaught, which continued into early today, was the largest attack the Iran-backed terror group has launched since the most recent war began.

In response, Israel has increased the intensity of its strikes in Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, where Hezbollah maintains a stronghold. Iranian strikes were also reported in northern and southern Israel, lightly injuring two people.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said the two, a 35-year-old woman and a man in his 50s, were hit by “flying objects” following impacts. They were taken to a hospital.

According to rescue services, a rocket that struck a home in the northern town of Bi’ina injured one of the two victims. Four others were treated for acute anxiety at the scene.

As the Israel Defense Forces instructed residents of the north to stay close to shelters, Hezbollah continued firing rockets and drones, with sirens set off across the Galilee and in Haifa as well as in communities up to 50 kilometers from the border with Lebanon.

In all, the terror group fired some 200 rockets at the north over the course of several hours, according to IDF assessments. Not all of the rockets crossed the border into Israel.

The IDF is preparing for a potential expansion of coordinated attacks from Iran and Hezbollah. The Israeli Air Force launched retaliatory strikes targeting launch sites and other terror infrastructure in Lebanon. The IAF confirmed that it destroyed 10 Hezbollah command posts today. This comes as the IDF continues to uncover terror cells in southern Lebanon.

An IDF official said Hezbollah’s attacks are intended to deter Israel from targeting Iran, potentially creating an opening for the regime to strike. Despite this, the official stated that Israel has the capability and resources to conduct campaigns against Iran and Hezbollah simultaneously.

During times of escalation like this, The Fellowship—and our supporters—extend our hearts and prayers to the men and women of the IDF fighting to keep Israel safe and secure.
