The Radwan Force is Hezbollah’s special operations unit and is often at the forefront of terror operations against Israel. The Jerusalem Post reports that the IDF identified a cell of operatives in southern Lebanon and carried out strikes against it yesterday. The strikes destroyed a structure belonging to the terror group as well as a weapons storage facility. At the same time, raids were also conducted in the region.
Additionally, the IDF identified suspects operating near IDF soldiers, posing a threat, and the Israel Air Force conducted a strike to kill the suspected terrorists.
Further, the IDF found numerous weapons and propaganda materials belonging to Hezbollah terrorists.
Earlier on Tuesday, the IDF announced that it had carried out attacks on Hezbollah command centers during the overnight hours.
These centers were near Ansar, a village in southern Lebanon where rockets were fired towards Israel, the military stated.
Hezbollah joined the most recent war against Israel in support of its backers in Iran, following calls from now-deceased Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, the IDF has launched strikes and conducted raids in southern Lebanon, along with broader campaigns targeting Tehran.
The Israel Air Force also completed a round of strikes yesterday targeting organizations that finance terror groups such as Hezbollah. The Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association in Lebanon works to make communities in the country financially dependent on—and unwaveringly supportive of—Hezbollah. The IDF estimates that approximately 30 assets belonging to the group have been targeted in the past week.
The Fellowship and our partners continue working tirelessly in the Holy Land, including in northern Israel communities that are most vulnerable to Hezbollah attacks. Our efforts include support initiatives for IDF servicemen and women, such as The Fellowship Appreciation Truck. We thank our donors for their generous support and steadfast prayers.
