Fighting between the IDF and Hezbollah terrorists in northern Israel and southern Lebanon continues despite a ceasefire. Over the past four days, seven soldiers have been wounded, and one was reported killed on Sunday.

According to The Times of Israel, Hezbollah has launched drones equipped with explosives and electronic jammers at IDF soldiers today. At the same time, the United States is preparing a counteroffer to Iran’s latest proposal regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, as the regime’s submission made no mention of uranium enrichment or its nuclear program.

The soldiers were taken to a hospital and their families were notified, the army said.

The IDF said the attacks were “violations of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terror group.”

On Sunday, Sgt. Idan Fooks, 19, was killed and six other soldiers were wounded in a Hezbollah explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon.

The Iran-backed terror group has made frequent use of small FPV drones in its attacks on Israeli troops in recent weeks.

Some of the drones are guided using a spool of fiber optic cable, which mitigates efforts to electronically jam their signal. According to military officials, the FPV drones have ranges of up to 15 kilometers.

The incidents came despite an ongoing ceasefire in Lebanon, which US President Donald Trump said last week would be extended by three weeks while noting that Israel could carry out strikes in Lebanon in self-defense.

Since Hezbollah entered the war in March, two Israeli civilians and 16 IDF soldiers have been killed. As Israel continues to defend itself in the north, President Trump and the United States are working toward a deal that would not only reopen the Strait of Hormuz but also permanently dismantle Iran’s nuclear program.

The Fellowship and its supporters pray for the families in northern Israel who have lost loved ones and for those still affected by this violence—and that shalom, peace, will shine over the Holy Land.
