Last week, over a hundred rockets were launched from Gaza into Israel. Additionally, other terrorist activities, like car-ramming attacks, have been on the rise on the streets of Israel. This week, Israel responded by announcing the IDF’s Operation Shield and Arrow—a mission to respond to these attacks and help keep Israelis safe from further attacks.

While we don’t know what will happen in the days to come, Yael Eckstein, our President and CEO, has let us know that The Fellowship is on the ground and ready for any situation that might occur.

The Fellowship’s donors stand for Israel and her people, and have allowed us to place thousands of shelters over the past 40 years, and these bomb shelters are open and available to those who need shelter. The Fellowship is also prepared to deliver food and basic needs to those in need until the situation calms down near the border with Gaza. And Fellowship-fortified security vehicles are keeping security officers in the south protected as they navigate to areas near the border with Gaza to protect the people of Israel.

In Israel’s time of uncertainty and increased tensions across the Holy Land, we continue to ask you to pray for shalom (peace) and that God will comfort and watch over His people.
