Now, His Family Is Together in Israel
The Fellowship | June 5, 2025
After nearly two decades in Brazil, Fabio’s dream of returning home to Israel has finally come true – thanks to friends like you.
Fabio first made aliyah in 2005 and served in the IDF as a lone soldier. But when his mother suddenly passed away, he returned to Brazil to care for his grieving family. Eighteen years passed. He married Raquel, started a family, and built a life – but his heart remained in Israel. During this time, his siblings actually made aliyah, but Fabio still didn’t. “Work and family commitments ended up getting in the way, and then the pandemic,” says Fabio.
Now, with anti-Semitism rising in Brazil and a deep longing to reunite with his siblings in the Holy Land, Fabio and his family boarded a Fellowship aliyah flight to Israel.
“The Fellowship guided us every step of the way,” Fabio says. “We’re so grateful.”
Because of your support, families like Fabio’s are finding hope and a future in their biblical homeland.
