U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran unless the regime signs on to a new nuclear agreement. According to Ynet, he described a massive armada moving toward Iran that is “ready, willing, and able to rapidly fulfill its mission, with speed and violence, if necessary.” This comes after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran is not currently holding negotiations with the United States.
“I hope Iran will quickly ‘come to the table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal — no nuclear weapons — one that is good for all parties,” Trump wrote. “Time is running out, it is truly of the essence. As I told Iran once before, make a deal. They didn’t, and there was ‘Operation Midnight Hammer,’ a major destruction of Iran. The next attack will be far worse.”
An Iranian source told the Lebanese broadcaster Al-Mayadeen, which is aligned with Iran’s so-called resistance axis, that amid what Tehran sees as an expanding enemy military buildup, defense has become its top priority. The source said Iran would raise its defensive readiness to the highest level in response to increased U.S. military activity and is taking the prospect of war seriously.
While Israel remains focused on demilitarizing Gaza after the return of the final hostage, the country also stays on alert for any potential Iranian incursions. Iranian sources have said that any attacks would be met with strikes on the locations from which they originated, adding that the response would be proportional. Further escalation could result in another regional war.
Trump has said the Islamic Republic is at its weakest point since the revolution, as hundreds of thousands of Iranians take to the streets to protest the oppressive regime. The country’s internet remains shut down to prevent the spread of information. Diplomatic pathways remain open, according to both sides, but that could change quickly with a U.S. strike.
Naturally, The Fellowship and our supporters have helped prepare Israel for the worst while praying for the best during these uncertain times. These prayers have never ceased as the crisis in Iran continues to evolve. We pray for the light of shalom — peace — to shine upon the Holy Land and the entire region.
