The Jerusalem Post reports that another high-ranking Hamas leader has been killed by an IAF strike in Gaza –deputy commander of naval police, Iyad Abu Yousef. The information provided for the strike came from the Israeli Navy. Yousef was notorious for planning and executing ambushes against IDF troops, and his part in the October 7 massacre.
“The forces are eliminating terrorists and destroying military structures that were used by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip,” the IDF said last week, after striking around 140 targets in a single day.
About 550,000 Palestinian civilians have evacuated Gaza City out of the nearly one million who were there before the current operation started, according to an IDF report on Sunday night, despite Hamas’s desperate attempts to prevent civilians from leaving the city.
Hamas leadership has been taking a hit since Israel launched an offensive in Gaza City to defeat the terror group. So much so that Hamas is planning to ask the United States for a ceasefire in exchange for releasing half of the hostages. The Fellowship and our faithful supporters pray for Israel and her people during this turning point in this war on terror and for the High Holy Days.
