The Fellowship has funded equipment for and the renovation of the Physical Therapy Hall at the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Department at Sheba Medical Center. And recently, The Fellowship participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new physical therapy room.

After the ceremony, Fellowship staff spoke with Dr. Dror Saban, who is head of the brain injury rehabilitation department:

“Our Rehabilitation Department helps people who suffered severe brain injuries to gain improvement in different aspects of their daily living and enhancing their quality of life,” said Dr. Saban. “For patients and family members it is a long daily struggle lasting for months and sometimes years.”

“We are staffed by nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language and physical therapists,” he said. “On behalf of our entire team, I would like to express our deepest thanks to The Fellowship for the generous donation for the renovation and equipment of our department. Your donation helps us to give the best treatment to our patients, many of whom were injured in the war.”

“It is more than a physical transformation. With this renovation we are now able to provide a space that better promotes healing. Whether it’s improved accessibility. More advanced equipment, or simply a more welcoming atmosphere, every detail of this upgrade directly enhances the patient and therapist experience.

“Thanks to The Fellowship’s support, our team has a renewed and well-equipped space that reflects the full-hearted professionalism we strive to offer for our patients.

“We are truly grateful to The Fellowship and all the Christians around the world for your belief in our mission and for supporting us in these difficult times.”
