The Fellowship is proud and honored that 1,346 organizations participated in Flags of Fellowship this year. Churches, synagogues, universities, and locally owned businesses all came together in a powerful act of solidarity to bless and stand in support of Israel on the second anniversary of the horrific October 7 attacks. Flags of Fellowship goes beyond an annual commemorative event. With the recent announcement that a ceasefire has been signed and a deal to return Israel’s hostages has been reached, it’s a testament to the power of prayer.

Calvary Chapel Meadow Mesa in Las Vegas held a special service on October 5, after which children placed the 1,200 Israeli flags around the small entrance plaza. Pastor Carlos Rodriguez affirmed that God has not given up on His chosen people. The church prayed and waved the Israeli flags they headed out to place after the sermon.

Flags of Fellowship was a time for celebration for the International Assembly of God in Toronto, as Israeli flags were waved with cheers and applause. “And we ask for your blessing, over the institution IFCJ, your blessing over Israel, over Jerusalem, over Christians all over the world, over the persecution, over suffering families in Nigeria, we pray for peace. We pray for Heaven’s resource” IAOG said in a touching tribute video made for the event and The Fellowship.

The World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, held a service with hundreds in attendance on October 6. Live music and several speakers were featured before the flag placement ceremony. “Father, we thank you. We thank you that you watch over your people –that nothing is hidden from you. There’s nothing hidden in darkness that you don’t know. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem tonight,” said Pastor Allen Jackson.

The Fellowship also blesses Hispanic churches across America for their participation in Flags of Fellowship. True fellowship goes beyond any language barriers. These churches include Iglesia Casa Del Pan in Hermitage, Tennessee, Igelsia de Dio Pentecostal in Raleigh, North Carolina, Iglesia Cristiana Manantial Abierto in Hicksville, New York, and El Sendero de la Cruz in Sacramento, California.

Over 1.5 million Israeli flags were placed thanks to the interfaith friendship and unity of faithful Christians and Jews that Flags of Fellowship represents. We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us this year in remembering October 7 and praying for Israel’s future, for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the remaining hostages to come home.
