Since the war with Iran began, more than 1,300 Israelis have been wounded by rocket fire from the Islamic Republic and its terror proxies. Rescue volunteers partnered with The Fellowship respond to craters in the middle of streets and buildings with entire sections blown away by missile strikes, working tirelessly to find and care for anyone caught in the attacks. There have been times when our partners at United Hatzalah sprang into action minutes after a strike took place.

Thankfully, no deaths have been reported in the last two days. However, with strikes increasing and more communities receiving evacuation orders, rescue volunteers have less time between responses.

The Fellowship Appreciation Truck was brought to Tel Aviv to provide drinks and food to nourish and hydrate rescue teams as their demanding work continues. Tel Aviv has recently experienced an increase in strikes from Iran. In fact, just yards from where the truck stopped, there had been a direct hit only moments earlier. Civilians in the city have been ordered to remain in bomb shelters until further notice.

The Appreciation Truck is not the only vehicle The Fellowship has deployed in the field. The Forward Command Vehicle functions as a mobile command post, greatly improving communication between rescue teams. Police, fire departments, and even security forces have used this vehicle when responding to large-scale emergencies in Israel. In addition, specialized transportation has also been deployed for elderly Israelis and those with mobility limitations, bringing them safely to shelters.

These vehicles allow The Fellowship to respond quickly to emergencies and assist relief efforts efficiently. When we help one another and operate together, that effort makes all the difference.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor” (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
