As the nation prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving, Bishop Paul Lanier offers us a prayer for this holiday of gratitude, and explains how this thankfulness extends to God as well:
I pray that Thursday, you’re surrounded by family members maybe from around the nation or maybe from across the street. Or maybe, you’re going to sit all by yourself. But I declare to you, you are not alone. I’m not kidding. He will never leave us or forsake us. And there are people who care about you, I’m one of them. I’m praying for you to be fully assured of His goodness and greatness in your life.
