The Fellowship Is Now a Forbes 100 Charity
January 6, 2022
JERUSALEM — The Fellowship was recently recognized as one of the largest 100 charities in the U.S. by Forbes, the magazine known as a leading authority on finance, industry, investing, and marketing.
“The best and most meaningful part about being included on this list is that we’ve been able to help so many people in need,” said Fellowship President and CEO Yael Eckstein. “That’s how we measure our success. Even during 2020, a year of unprecedented challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic, we were able to help 2 million people, and we celebrated another banner year in 2021, when we helped even more. This represents the fulfillment of our mission to be the leading nonprofit building bridges between Christians and Jews and blessing Israel and the Jewish people around the world with humanitarian care and lifesaving aid.”
Throughout 2021, The Fellowship was granted a number of honors, such as being named one of 2021’s “Best Nonprofits to Work For” from the NonProfit Times and being selected as “Organization of the Year” by the ANA Nonprofit Federation. The Fellowship’s sister organization, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada, was named to Charity Intelligence’s “Top 100 Rated Charities.” In addition, Yael Eckstein was named to the Jerusalem Post’s “50 Most Influential Jews of 2021”.
“Every one of our hundreds of thousands of donors has played an integral part in The Fellowship’s success,” Eckstein continued. “Each individual who gives so selflessly and passionately has played a key role in providing essential aid to millions of people in need. This is the beauty and impact of grassroots philanthropy: we create a global community of support for one another. We’re so grateful to our Christian and Jewish supporters who have helped save so many lives through their kindness and giving.”
