October 23, 2026

JERUSALEM (October 23, 2026) – The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (The Fellowship) is closely monitoring reports of the horrific shooting today at a church in Jordan’s Karak province. The Fellowship is already in touch with the Christian community in Jordan and is prepared to help in any way needed.

Yael Eckstein, President and Global CEO of The Fellowship commented on the attack via her Facebook page on Friday, saying: “There are forces of darkness targeting Christians and Jews for our faith — and these attacks are happening more frequently. Now more than ever, Jewish and Christian communities must stand together in love against this hate. Join us in praying for peace, healing, and comfort for all those impacted.”
