As the people of the Israel wait for the results of the parliamentary election, our President and Global CEO, Yael Eckstein, appears on Your Morning Show with Michael DelGiorno to talk about the record turnout of voters:

Essentially what’s happened now is we’ve had a historic voter turnout. Over 80% of voters went out. This was the first election since October 7, so it was pretty significant. And it was the first time the sitting government served its full term of four years since the 1980s. So, this is going to determine the future of Israel and what I believe, really, is the future of the free world. Because the same threat we are facing in Israel is the same threat America, Europe, and the rest of the world is facing.

What we see is that first of all, Israel is a thriving diverse, democracy which is something that’s beautiful and if the politicians can find a way to work together to have all the different populations represented in the government, it would really be incredible –that’s what I’m holding onto.

Of course, leading the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, we’re not a political organization. We’re a humanitarian organization and we help the Christian community here in Israel, we help persecuted Christians in Jordan, in Syria, in Lebanon. And so, what I see is that we need to stand together as Christians and Jews who are facing the same threat.
