Yael’s Holy Land Reflections
Before the High Holy Days began, Yael shared this reflection on the meaning of the holidays — for Jews and Christians alike — with our friends at Fox News.
On Rosh Hashanah, we look back at the past year’s challenges and blessings, and look ahead at the new possibilities God provides us — because with Him, all things are possible.
When we bless others through charity, not only do we turn our righteous thoughts into righteous action, we use the blessings that God has given us — blessings that are His in the first place — to bless others.
Prayer, the foundation of our relationship with God, allows us to develop our love for Him and experience His love for us. As the High Holy Days approach, let us renew our relationship with God by giving Him our hearts in prayer.
Yael takes a look at the first of three pillars that serve as the foundation for the High Holy Days — repentance. When we make sure we are right with God, everything else will fall into place.
