It was just months ago when 12-year-old Alan was enjoying life and playing soccer with friends. He didn’t know that he was moments away from surviving one of the deadliest Hezbollah rocket attacks of last summer at a local field in Majdal Shams, Israel. This attack killed 12 innocent kids and injured many more, like Alan.

“I was near the soccer field when I heard the rocket explosion,” remembers Alan’s dad. “I ran straight to the field.”

What he saw next was any parent’s nightmare: “I saw Alan lying and bleeding on the field. Alan was evacuated by helicopter and went straight to surgery.” The surgeon told his parents to prepare for the worst. But after a long surgery and many hours of waiting, Alan’s parents finally had some hope – their son was in stable condition.

We caught up with Alan, whose parents explained that he’s bravely faced months of rehabilitation and still needs a couple more surgeries, after suffering damage to his pelvis, spine, and eye.

But thanks to you, The Fellowship has been by Alan’s side this entire time. We donated the ambulance that was the first to arrive with paramedics to treat the injured like Alan. And we continue to provide support to Alan’s family as they face a long road of recovery. We were able to bring Alan a Lego set to distract him from all the difficult and dark things he’s had to endure these past months. And we are so glad he’s on the road to recovery!

Your gift today will provide basic needs and lifesaving help for God’s children, like Alan, in Israel, in Ukraine, and around the world.
