They called it “Operation Midnight Hammer”: Last night, after much speculation about what the U.S. role in thwarting Iran’s nuclear ambitions might be, U.S. B-2 bombers struck three key nuclear sites in Iran:

US Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine and US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Sunday afternoon gave the full details and background on how American forces used decoys, stealth aircraft, and mega bunker buster bombs to attack three key Iranian nuclear facilities in just 25 minutes.

Hegseth said, “Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been obliterated.”

Caine explained that a larger number of aircraft than those which eventually struck Iran flew from Missouri in the direction of Iran initially, but that then the majority of the aircraft split to the West as a decoy.

In a video statement, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu lauded the strike as a critical move toward peace:

“President Trump and I often say peace through strength. First comes strength, then comes peace. And tonight, President Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength,” he said in an English-language statement.

The premier called the US “truly unsurpassed” in its strikes on Iran, adding that Trump’s “leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace.”

May God bless and protect all American and Israeli soldiers who serve their country so faithfully and courageously, and may we continue to pray for the day when God’s precious gift of shalom, peace, covers the entire world.
