Stand for Israel | May 22, 2025
We are devastated over the news of the fatal shooting of two Israeli Embassy staff members, Yaron Lischinsky (28) and Sarah Lynn Milgrim (26), who were shot and killed in a targeted attack outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., during an event hosted by the American Jewish Committee. The Times of Israel tells us more:
Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were shot and killed Wednesday evening while leaving an event at a Jewish museum, with police saying the suspect yelled, “Free, free Palestine” after he was arrested.
The two victims, named as as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when the suspect approached a group of four people and opened fire, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said at a news conference.
This horrific attack shows the lethal danger of the vicious anti-Semitism and anti-Israel incitement that has become shockingly common in the media and in public life. The Fellowship works tirelessly to protect Israelis, Jewish people, and Jewish institutions around the world from vile anti-Semitic attacks such as this. As The Fellowship and our faithful supporters are committed to serving as “watchmen on the walls” for God’s people, please pray for all the loved ones of the victims of this horrific shooting.
