As the war on Israel continues, terror is making its way onto the streets near the Holy City. A terror attack just outside of Jerusalem claimed the life of one Border Police officer and injured another on Monday, reports The Times of Israel:

A Border Police officers was stabbed to death and another was injured in a terrorist attack Monday morning near the Herod’s Gate entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City.

The two victims, one of them in critical condition, were taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus hospital where the critically wounded officer died of her wounds. She was named by police as Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, 20, from Kibbutz Sa’ad in southern Israel.

Police said Lubin had moved to Israel from the United States in August 2021, and was drafted to police as a so-called “lone soldier” in March 2022.
