Et-Tell in West Bank, thought to be ruins of biblical city of Ai

“So Joshua burned Ai and made it a permanent heap of ruins, a desolate place to this day… And they raised a pile of rocks over it, which remains to this day.” (Joshua 8:28-29).

This is the archaeological site of Et-Tell in the Holy Land, thought to be the Canaanite city of Ai, destroyed by Joshua and the Israelites in the Bible. The Holy Land is surely full of biblical history “which remains to this day.” Shabbat shalom, friends.
