Netanyahu: Hezbollah Will Get the Message

On Sunday morning Hezbollah unleashed a furious volley of more than 150 rockets, cruise missiles, and drones at Israel. This follows a sharp increase in hostilities between Israel and the Lebanon-based terrorist group. Some 2 million Israelis were within range of these attacks, with rockets striking as far away as Haifa and the Jezreel Valley.

Repeating his promise to return northern Israel residents to their homes – tens of thousands have been displaced for months due to repeated Hezbollah attacks on the region – Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also said that Israel’s retaliatory strikes only hint at its capabilities:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday vowed that Hezbollah will “get the message” after a series of dramatic operations against the Iran-backed terror group in recent days.

“Over the past few days we hit Hezbollah with a string of strikes that it didn’t imagine,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.

“If Hezbollah didn’t get the message, I promise you, it will get the message,” he warned.

The effects of Hezbollah’s war on Israel have been devastating: loss of life, homes destroyed, families displaced, more than 50,000 acres of land burned.
