Yesterday, it was reported that a commander of the 401st Armored Brigade and another IDF soldier were injured in separate Hezbollah attacks. Today, The Times of Israel reported that a total of 10 IDF troops have been wounded in the past 24 hours, some sustaining serious injuries. Col. Meir Biderman’s position is being temporarily filled as he recovers. IDF troops continue counterterrorism operations in southern Lebanon as Jerusalem and Beirut have yet to enter direct talks, despite existing negotiations claiming a ceasefire.

Also on Wednesday, the IDF published footage of a strike it carried out earlier in the week on a Hezbollah weapons production site in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon that had been established inside a building previously used as a civilian clinic and located meters away from a mosque.

The IDF said secondary explosions were identified following the strike, indicating the presence of weapons inside the building.

The military echoed accusations it made earlier on Wednesday, when the IDF announced a separate strike on a civilian building allegedly housing Hezbollah surveillance equipment in southern Lebanon, with the military again accusing the terror group of using civilian infrastructure in operations against Israel.

American and Lebanese ambassadors met last week in Washington for a third round of talks, resulting in an agreement to extend the ceasefire with Lebanon for another 45 days. Hezbollah, however, has yet to acknowledge the ceasefire. In response, the IDF has continued dismantling terror infrastructure near Israel’s northern border.

President Donald Trump has called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. Aoun has declined to meet with Netanyahu, while roughly one-third of Lebanon’s population has protested the possibility of such talks. Iran has also stated that ending the conflict in Lebanon is among its demands in the deal Trump is currently pressing for.

The Fellowship and our supporters pray for the injured IDF soldiers who have continued fighting over the past month since the broader ceasefire, as they receive care and recover from their injuries. We also pray for the communities of northern Israel, who spent Shavuot still under the threat of terror — that peace, shalom, may soon shine over their homes.
