This week, the IDF confirmed that it has carried out more than 600 strikes against Iran’s ballistic missile network. According to Ynet, these strikes have put launch crews under significant pressure by disrupting operations and even trapping missiles underground through the destruction of storage tunnels. Footage has been released of one such Israel Air Force (IAF) strike in western Iran, showing a loaded launcher aimed at Israel.
According to military officials, Iran had planned to synchronize launches in order to carry out heavy barrages. But with launch zones and storage facilities under repeated attack throughout the day, Iranian forces have struggled to fire regularly and have been unable to coordinate salvos as originally intended. The officials said Tehran has not been able to conduct the campaign against Israel the way it had planned.
The military said the air force has carried out more than 600 strike sorties against Iran’s ballistic missile array. Military Intelligence, drawing on what officials described as multiple intelligence streams, including sources inside Iran, has in the past week identified declining morale, absenteeism and operational fatigue among Revolutionary Guard missile-unit personnel, the military said. Officials added that some operatives have become afraid to report to launch sites because of what they described as systematic Israeli targeting.
The IDF also reported that Iran has been firing fewer missiles toward Israel since the war began, with approximately 10 launches per day now compared to nearly 100 missiles on the first day. As Iran attempts to increase its launch rate, the IAF has been working to destroy missiles or render them inaccessible.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said today that the IAF is planning additional strikes on Iran in the coming days. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has delayed potential strikes on Iran’s power plants by 10 days while pursuing diplomatic solutions with the Islamic Republic.
The Fellowship and its supporters pray for the protection of the men and women of the IDF and IAF, and for continued success in destroying Iran’s missile capabilities.
