Israel continues to face Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, as the IDF reports increased activity on both fronts. Both terror groups have stepped up their operations with the support of their backers in Iran. According to The Jerusalem Post, Hezbollah is attempting to scout IDF positions while reestablishing its presence in areas it had previously lost. Meanwhile, in Gaza, the IDF continues to confront Hamas, with an IDF tank reportedly driving over an explosive device during the weekend.

According to a military source, a ‘battle of wits’ is taking place around the Ali Taher ridge between the Northern Command and Hezbollah.

The terrorist organization is trying to determine where IDF troops are positioned, and when it detects movement, it attempts to attack in a “gray area,” as it did early Saturday morning with a fiber-optic drone. Three soldiers from the IDF’s Yahalom special engineering unit, operating under the Commando Brigade combat team, were wounded as a result.

At the same time, according to reports, Hezbollah is attempting to resupply its operatives who are trapped in underground infrastructure. The IDF, meanwhile, is trying to locate Hezbollah infrastructure and terrorists on the Ali Taher ridge and destroy them.

The IDF’s Northern Command is working to locate hidden supply routes used by Hezbollah, as well as drone activity serving the same purpose. These efforts have yielded results, with terror operatives reportedly seen emerging from underground tunnels as their supplies of food and ammunition run low.

There were no fatalities when an IDF tank ran over a recently planted explosive device in Gaza. Although the IDF’s Southern Command viewed the incident as an escalation along the Yellow Line in the enclave, no retaliatory strikes were authorized. The White House has demanded a halt to strikes in the area unless they are necessary to address an immediate threat.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is officially U.S. territory, a claim Tehran has contested. Iranian officials are reportedly preparing to shift to a “fully offensive” posture in response, The Jerusalem Post reports.

The Fellowship and our donors pray for the men and women of the IDF defending the Holy Land against terrorism in the north and south. When we are surrounded by enemies, we remind ourselves of God’s presence and that we are never truly cornered.
