The IDF was able to intercept a ballistic missile launched by Houthis in Yemen early Wednesday morning. JNS reports that the rocket attack from the terror group triggered air raid sirens for about 1.5 million Israelis living in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, and the Judean Foothills.

Israel’s Magen David Adom medical emergency response group said it had not received any reports about casualties or fallen shrapnel.

The Houthis have been launching ballistic missile and drone attacks on the Jewish state since the Hamas-led invasion of southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

Since the end of the latest ceasefire in Gaza on March 18, the Iran-backed group has fired over 70 ballistic missiles and over 20 drones at the Jewish state.

This also comes after the IDF launched attacks against Houthis in Yemen on Sunday, which included terrorist sites in Sanaa and Hodeidah. Houthis had also launched a missile with a cluster warhead at Israel on Friday, the first reported launch of one from the region. No one was reported hurt in that attack as well.

The Fellowship continues to pray and provide security for Israel and her people as terror threats like Hamas, Houthis, and Hezbollah continue to attack Israel, even after ceasefire agreements. Since the latest one, Houthis has fired over 70 ballistic missiles and 20 drones at Israel.
