The Times of Israel reports that the IDF conducted a daytime raid in Ramallah’s city center on Tuesday. The goal was to dismantle financial networks like businesses that are used as fronts to launder money and fund terror groups such as Hamas.

According to the military, soldiers from the Binyamin Regional Brigade, along with Duvdevan commando unit fighters and Border Police forces, stormed a currency exchange office accused of transferring funds to Hamas operatives to finance terror activity. The operation was carried out with intelligence guidance from Central Command and the Shin Bet.

During the raid, five suspects allegedly involved in terror activity were arrested, and hundreds of thousands of shekels identified as terror funds were confiscated, the IDF says.

The military adds that the operation is part of its broader campaign across the West Bank to dismantle the financial networks of terror groups.

IDF forces continue to lessen Hamas’ hold on the West Bank militarily and financially, as the Israeli security cabinet meets to plan what they hope to be the concluding phase of the war with Hamas that began on October 7, 2023. The Fellowship and its faithful supporters continue to pray for and give to Israel and her people.
