Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a speech before the United Nations General Debate at the headquarters in New York yesterday. In his 40-minute address he discussed the current threats from Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah that Israel continues to face, and blasted countries that push the libel of genocide on Israel. He also praised the partnership and support from the U.S. and offered a call for unity among Israelis as one nation fighting for its future.
Netanyahu said, “Our values have inspired humanity for millennia. The belief in one God. The sanctity of life. The rule of law. Our eternal quest for peace. Our eternal quest for justice. It is these sacred values that propelled us throughout the ages. It is these values that helped us beat the odds of history.”
