Even as Israel celebrates Jerusalem Day, she continues to face grave threats from Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, and the nation that funds them, Iran.

All eyes have been on northern Israel this week, where scores of Hezbollah rocket attacks have ignited fires that have burned thousands of acres of land. Today, an explosive drone struck the town of Hurfeish, injuring at least 10 people – one of them critically.

Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear that Israel’s response to these attacks from the north will be swift and decisive:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Wednesday that Israel was prepared with an “extremely powerful” response to attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon, which have escalated significantly in recent days.

“Anyone who thinks that they can harm us and we will sit on our hands is sorely mistaken,” Netanyahu during a visit to the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, which has been largely evacuated since the Lebanon-based terror group began attacking Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis on October 8.

Friends, please continue to pray for Israel in these perilous and critical times – for wisdom and strength for her leaders, protection for her people, and for the day when she will know true shalom, peace.
