What’s Inside Fellowship Rescue Kits?

Since the conflict with Iran began, The Fellowship has distributed hundreds—if not thousands—of emergency aid packages ranging from food to security supplies for Israelis who have been displaced, are sheltering, or have been caught in missile strikes from Iran across the Holy Land.

On the front lines of our emergency preparedness efforts is our partner United Hatzalah, the largest volunteer rescue organization in Israel. Their teams work around the clock at the sites of rocket strikes—sometimes in the centers of entire cities.

With increased demand, The Fellowship has distributed nearly 150 additional tactical rescue kits to seven different municipalities across Israel in accordance with Home Front Community Guidelines, and more are on the way. This effort was made possible through a partnership with For U’r Aid, an Israeli American manufacturer of medical and emergency response equipment.

“On the outside, there’s a helmet, metal scissors, carabiners, and duffel tape. When you open the top of the bag, you’ll find all the lighting equipment—a vest, headlamp, flashlight, stick lighting, and face mask. In the middle section, there are tools secured on a Velcro divider that can be completely detached. These include a wire cutter, fire extinguisher, zip ties, a well-equipped Swiss Army knife, cords of different sizes, a tactical stretcher for quick rescues, a bulletproof blanket, and a rechargeable megaphone that can also record,” said Yossi of For U’r Aid.

The smaller pockets on the back also contain safety glasses, gloves, face masks, and a voltage detector. The dedicated first aid pocket includes a tourniquet, bandages, and a hypothermia management kit for life-or-death rescue situations.

These rescue kits will make a critical difference for responders and rescue teams who are often the first on the scene after an attack. The Fellowship is grateful to our partners at For U’r Aid, who helped us quickly deliver these essential supplies to the field, and to our faithful donors who make these efforts possible.
