As thousands of Jewish families escape the war in Ukraine, many are finding some shelter in the western Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi, which is located only 40 minutes away from Romania. They know they can cross the border at any time, so most feel a little safer in this region. However, the children are still unable to fully comprehend the panic and anxiety surrounding them and express their sadness. So we’ve started supporting music therapy sessions aimed at calming the children and assisting them to overcome the stress of war.
