High Holy Days program volunteers in Israel with food for elderly

Thanks to the support of millions of Christians worldwide, The Fellowship launched this year’s High Holy Days program in Israel and the former Soviet Union (FSU) – and it has been a huge success! This year we were able to help 30,000 Israelis in need, including low-income families, the elderly, and children, by providing them with food and clothing for the holiday.

In the FSU, we provided aid to an additional 14,000 people. And Fellowship staff and volunteers visited the elderly in Israel, bringing them celebratory gift baskets containing Rosh Hashanah treats such as honey and apples to usher in a sweet new year. We feel so privileged to help Jews in need celebrate this special time of year in dignity through our High Holy Days program.
