The Fellowship helped to fund an underground fortified emergency room for HaEmek Medical Center in the city of Afula. The emergency room construction was completed in 2023 and now the hospital is in full emergency mode due to the war and using the underground fortified emergency room to save lives.

This is what the CEO of HaEmek Medical Center, Dr. Maor Maman, said:

“We are working in an emergency mode. All patients have been transferred to fortified departments. There are 300 beds in the protected area. Half of the beds were provided thanks to the donation of The Fellowship. The departments are fully functional. The construction of the emergency department was finished just in time. The Fellowship was the first organization to understand the need for fortification during times of war and they came to assist.”
