Project Spotlight: Food for Christmas to Needy Christians

The needy in Israel aren’t just Jewish; there are also impoverished Christians who struggle every day with the impossible decision of buying food or medicine. And as the war on Israel continues, these elderly now struggle with increased risk of rocket attacks. The realities of poverty and war sting even more at the holidays.

Thankfully, The Fellowship is helping these elderly Christians in need this Christmas. We are helping people like 88-year-old Leila, who lives in northern Israel. Lately, her city has come under heavy fire from Lebanon, and two residents of her city were killed by a missile strike.

Leila is very afraid of the war. When alarms sound, she goes into the bathroom and prays a missile won’t fall on her house.

This Christmas, the least we could do was deliver her an emergency holiday food box and provide her reassurance that she isn’t alone. Thank you for blessing elderly in need this holy season.
