For decades, The Fellowship has been fulfilling biblical prophecy and providing needy Jews around the world a new life in the Holy Land of Israel by helping them make aliyah on our Freedom Flights. The most recent flights out of France are a special milestone for The Fellowship –with a new grand total of 50,917 olim brought home to Israel since we began Freedom Flights.
Among the olim (immigrants) on our most recent flights from France were the Mimouni and Maruani families. Gad Elyaou Fradji and Annael Mimouni made the trip with their three-year-old and one-year-old sons, while David and Rebecca Fanny Maruani traveled with their 14 and 13-year-old sons as well as their newborn son, who was born in July.
Anti-Semitism has increased in Europe since October 7, and no country saw an increase in this kind of hateful rhetoric and acts as much as France, with anti-Semitism said to have quadrupled. Last year, 1,676 anti-Semitic instances were reported. For many, aliyah is a way out of persecution and discrimination. People like the Mimouni and Maruani families also want to give their children a better life with more resources than they had in their home country.
