Premature Infants Moved to Rambam Hospital’s Fortified Area

Because of the dangerous Hezbollah rockets being fired directly at Israel, the hospital staff transferred premature infants from Carmel Medical Center to the Children’s Hospital at Fellowship-supported Rambam Medical Center.

Just a day before when the rockets first started falling, Rambam Medical Center moved their patients to the fortified underground parking lot, which took close to eight hours.

The premature infants were moved with the help of doctors from the neonatal intensive care unit at Carmel Medical Center along with Magen David Adom, Israel’s medical first responders, to the first floor of Rambam, which is fully fortified.
