Prayer Points

Prayer Points and the Fellowship Prayer Team unite Jews and Christians around the world to raise a chorus of prayer to God for the security, well-being, and protection of Israel and the Jewish people. By appealing to God on behalf of his children, the Prayer Team will make a powerful, positive impact on Israel’s struggle for peace and security, and provide a tremendous source of encouragement to Israel and her people.  Add your voice to the members of the Fellowship Prayer Team.

Prayer Points

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord” (Psalm 31:24).

In an uncertain and chaotic world, we turn our hearts to God, knowing that His Word and promises to His people are eternal—a light that will inevitably overcome the darkness. With events unfolding rapidly not only in Israel but around the world, let us pray that God’s promises will be fulfilled, and that His light will continue to shine upon His people and all those who bless them.

• After a shooting in a Jewish neighborhood of Montreal, local Michael Moshe Mizrachi and Montreal police officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane were killed. We pray for peace and comfort for their families as they mourn their loss. “The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot” (Proverbs 10:7).

• U.S. talks with Iran have entered their first official round under the 60-day ceasefire agreement. As the future and security of Israel and the broader region are discussed, we pray for wisdom and strength for both Israeli and American leaders as they work toward a new status quo of shalom—peace. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23).

• While talks between Israel and Lebanon are underway, the threat of Hezbollah attacks remains real for northern Israeli communities and IDF troops in the region. As these communities continue to face danger and tensions persist, we pray that negotiations will progress and that the ceasefire will continue to hold. We also pray for the families of northern Israel and the soldiers who protect them. “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” (Isaiah 30:18).

• Many Israelis are facing economic hardship after years of war, with one in three reporting a loss of income. As The Fellowship continues to provide critical financial assistance, we pray for God’s people who are enduring these difficult circumstances. May they know they are not forgotten, and may they experience restoration and recovery. “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor” (Proverbs 22:9).

• This week, as the United States observed Father’s Day, we pray for and celebrate the men who have answered the sacred calling of fatherhood and helped shape the hearts and minds of those who will impact the world for generations to come. “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12).
