Yael Eckstein and Rev. Johnnie Moore, a warrior for peace

“The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is a historic organization. It pioneered the relationship between the Jewish and Christian community. It was not easy to do. You know, our beloved rabbi, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, may his memory be a blessing, when he decided to build that bridge it was controversial and he went out in front and he did the hard work. And now as we sit here, there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Christians that wake up every day, praying for Israel. They support Israel, they do all of these things. It’s incredible. What brings us together is our shared values to serve the needy around the world, to stand up for what’s right to, to try to raise our children in a way that honors God, and to treat one another with respect, to leave the world a better place. I think that’s the core of the relationship.”
