“This is a very exciting project which has a positive effect on the security of Israel’s residents in the North. One thousand and seven hundred shelters were renovated to a very high level and standard. This is a big step forward for the security and well-being of the residents. These people have suffered from bombings and shellings for 25 years. Although we hope that there won’t be a need for the residents to use these shelters, their lives are now more secure. On behalf of the State of Israel, the Ministry of Defense, and the citizens of Israel, I want to thank Rabbi Eckstein and the IFCJ for the security you bring to Israel.”
