Today, I ask you to pray…

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire” (Psalm 46:9).

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine are on the rise, and war could be imminent. With this escalation, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people are at risk.

The Fellowship is prepared for this situation.

We have been providing aid to Jews in need in the former Soviet Union for 30 years, and we are just as committed to fulfilling that mission during this time of uncertainty as we have ever been. Hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine, Russia, and throughout the region depend on us, and I can assure you that our delivery of essential aid will continue.

Today, I ask you to pray…

Pray for the safety of vulnerable Jewish populations in the region – including thousands of elderly and Holocaust survivors – and for all the innocent people caught in this conflict.

Pray that a swift and peaceful resolution will end the hostilities.

And pray for all our Fellowship staff, volunteers, and trusted partners who are on the ground right now delivering life-sustaining aid to those who are under threat.

You have shown your support of Israel and the Jewish people time and again, in both good times and bad. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please join me in prayer for the day when “peace like a river” will cover this troubled region, and the entire world. With blessings from the Holy Land,
