Eat or Heat?

Cold, elderly Jewish woman named Maria who needs your help
Eat or heat was this elderly woman's choice during harsh winter

We are humbled by the commitment to bless Israel and the Jewish people who would otherwise have to choose “eat or heat,” through our supporters’ valued partnership with The Fellowship.

But as January and February are two of the coldest we will face all year, you can open your heart now and send an emergency gift to support our Operation Winter Warmth program, so we can quickly provide firewood, blankets, and other assistance to elderly Jews and others in need.

Your gift to The Fellowship today will help us rush urgent winter assistance to Holocaust survivors like Maria, who lives in the former Soviet Union. During the winter, Maria can barely afford the cost of wood for her fireplace, so she survives on just one potato per day. If she has to pay a doctor, she goes without food that entire week! Maria feels abandoned and alone.

With your help, we may continue our urgent lifesaving work this winter so these precious souls don’t have to make the choice of “eat or heat”. Your prayers and contribution given today are clearly the seeds the psalmist spoke of when he wrote, “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy” (Psalm 126:5).
