You Are Her Angels

Living in Netivot, Israel, rockets are nothing new for 85-year-old Vera. The town’s proximity to the Gaza Strip means that its residents are most at-risk when terrorist rockets begin to fly.
So during Operation Shield and Arrow, as more than 1,000 terrorist rockets targeted the people of the Holy Land, did all she could do: “I laid in bed and prayed.”
But this Holocaust survivor also knew she wasn’t forgotten because The Fellowship visited her, despite the rockets, with food and companionship, to make sure this precious child of God wasn’t alone.
“You are my guardian angels doing God’s work on earth,” Vera said when Fellowship volunteers arrived after she’d been homebound during two days of rocket barrages. “I now feel much more protected because I know that even in an emergency, The Fellowship continues to support me. Thank you, my angels.”
