‘Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart’

Such a loving and dedicated mother, 43-year-old Sandrine raises her three-year-old daughter all on her own. Sandrine wishes she had more family support, but her father passed away suddenly from a heart attack shortly after little Miley turned one years old, and her mother lives abroad.
But even though it’s difficult to do everything on her own, Sandrine says her daughter gives her the strength to keep surviving. “Miley is my light, she is everything to me, she is my whole world, and I invest everything in her upbringing.”
But finances are a struggle. Sweet Miley was diagnosed with a developmental delay right when she was born, along with other health issues. So she’s frequently sick and in need of care. Sandrine tells us being her sole caretaker is rewarding yet exhausting. “If I’m sick, there’s no one to take care of Miley. I’m not allowed to be sick because there’s no one to take care of her,” explains the mother. Today, Miley is in a therapeutic kindergarten and during the last six months there has been great progress in her condition. And Sandrine devotes all her time and the few resources she has to caring for her daughter.
That’s why The Fellowship’s support just before the holiday of Passover, which Jews will observe soon, makes a huge difference and shows this single mother that she’s not alone! It is especially helpful as Israel is still at war and many families struggle to afford basic needs.
“Thank you to The Fellowship from the bottom of my heart for the diapers and formula you brought… Miley is my only family and we will be together during the Passover holiday. Thanks to the products you brought, we will have food at home, and we can welcome the holiday with joy.”
