The only one of nine siblings to have survived the Holocaust, 85-year-old Sibo has known times of darkness—and yet she has survived. But as two of her sons still live in the war-torn FSU, and the other is disabled and in need of care, himself, Sibo has come to depend on The Fellowship for help.

Since we first found this sweet Jewish woman over a year ago, her health has declined—she seems weaker and is unable to leave her fourth floor apartment in a building with no elevator. But Sibo’s eyes still twinkle when a Fellowship volunteer arrives—like the High Holy Days delivery she recently received.

“During all these difficult and dark times I’m going through, The Fellowship is the only light in my life,” she says.

You can provide light—and lifesaving food and other necessities—to the life of an elderly Jewish person in need.
