Dagan had nearly given up his dream of becoming a father, but when he met Ronit, the connection was instant. Soon the couple married and prepared to bring their first child into the world.

The complications began in the 22nd week of Ronit’s pregnancy, when she was ordered to bed rest, before being hospitalized.

The couple’s child, Neadari, was born in the 26th week of pregnancy, facing developmental and chronic complications affecting premature infants. But Rinot died during labor, leaving Neadari without a mother and Dagan without a wife.

Neadari spent two months in the NICU just fighting to survive. Now the little boy’s life is one of constant medical supervision and frequent treatments at hospitals around Israel.

Unable to work because of his son’s situation, the young widower tells us, “Neadari is my whole world, my entire universe.”

But this High Holy Days season, when The Fellowship learned of this young family’s plight, Dagan and Neadari began receiving help with food, supplies, and baby products. Because of you, this father and son can begin the new year on a positive note and begin their new life together.

With The Fellowship, you can provide help and hope for the neediest of God’s children.
