This Hanukkah, we here at Stand for Israel are so grateful for all you do to help the Jewish state and Jewish people. And so it made us think of you when we saw this old photo. While Madison Square Garden might be well-known for hosting big games played by the Knicks and the Rangers and big shows played by Elvis Presley and John Lennon, for 20 years it was also the site of an annual fundraiser for the then-nascent state of Israel. Taken from the archives of the Library of Congress, this picture is photographic proof that even world famous marquees stand for Israel. Happy Hanukkah to the people of Israel and all those who stand with her!
