‘A Place to Stay’

Joseph and Mary, Bethlehem, 1898
Joseph and Mary, Bethlehem, 1898

“…from Bethlehem in Judah…I’m looking for a place to stay.” (Judges 17:9)

As you can see, the above verse is taken from the Old Testament. This story, from the book of Judges, shows that Bethlehem has always been a place to stay in the Holy Land, something this nativity scene of Mary and Joseph taken in 1898 surely shows. We wish all of our Christian friends a very Merry Christmas!
