Terrorists Vow Jerusalem Attack ‘Just the Beginning’

In the days since Sunday’s terrorist truck attack killed four IDF cadets, the people of Israel have been in mourning. Not so, many Palestinians. Israel Hayom’s Efrat Forsher and Yori Yalon report that on social media and in the real world, praise has been heaped upon the murderous terrorist and more violence has been promised:
Palestinian incitement surged in the wake of Sunday’s ramming attack in Jerusalem, with social media praising the attack and terror sympathizers warning it was “just the beginning.”
Posts on the “Mukaber Net” Facebook page, affiliated with the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber, where Fadi al-Qanbar, the truck driver who carried out the attack, resided, praised the attack and expressed hope others would follow in his footsteps.
One post featured an illustration of Qanbar against the backdrop of a truck, with a caption reading, “The shahid [martyr] Fadi al-Qanbar ran over Zionist soldiers.”
Another version of the illustration also featured the words, “Wanted: Drivers.”
A YouTube video featuring clips from the scene of the ramming at Armon Hanatziv promenade in Jerusalem also praised the attack and its perpetrator.
The video features captions reading, “Fadi al-Qanbar carries out the ramming near Jabel Mukaber, running over a group of occupation soldiers,” and “The truck intifada.”
A statement featured on the video said, “The factions of the resistance welcome this act, which followed statements by Israeli defense sources saying that Jerusalem is safe.”
